Cambodian Labour Confederation established on 09 April of 2006 and registered in No KB/VK on 31 December of 2008 in the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, is the democratic and independent confederation. Nowadays, CLC has 101278 members from federal members, eight of associations and unions such as: Coalition of Cambodian Apparel Workers Democratic Unions (C.CAWDU), Cambodian Tourist Service-Workers Federation (CTSWF), Farmers Association of Peace and Development (FAPD), Building and Wood Workers Trade Union Federation of Cambodia (BWTUC), Cambodian Industry worker federation (CIWF), Cambodian Agriculture worker federation (CAWF), Cambodian Transportation worker federation (CTWF), and Cambodian Informal Economic Worker Association (CIWA).

VISIONS:

Cambodian obtain a society with the rule of law, democracy, equally and fully respection the human right between men and women as well as good and convenient living condition. Citizens will get legality social,democratic fully respecting human right between men and wormen better living condition.

MISSIONS:

  • Integrate all unions into unique of voice,
  • Uphold the democracy,
  • Train and reseach the social economics,
  • Advocate to employers and the government,
  • Promote the equality between men and women

AIMS:

  • Improve cooperation with the government, employers and the federation of workers and employees,
  • Announce and educate the human right, the Labour law, the democracy and other skills,
  • Compel to implement the policy of democracy, the human right and labour law,
  • Improve the living standard of workers, employers, civil-servants, teachers as well as all levels of people,
  • Compel to strengthen the educational sector and social justice,
  • Provide legal support to members and their families,
  • Compel to manage the national budget and loan high effectively.

OBJECTIVES:

Improve the high capacity and knowledge of association, union and federation leaders such as:

  • Increasing members gradually in all sectors, contribution payment,
  • Having authority innegotiations and influence in Cambodia,
  • Members having good labour condition,
  • Being the national and international representatives,
  • Getting more women as leaders and members
  • Having internal solidarity
